Mawley Hall LLP is a fully-integrated, family-owned enterprise established in early 2018 when its first component, the Mawley Hall Estate, was acquired.

From the outset, Mawley Hall’s new owners have been committed to restoring the Estate to the highest conservation standards and making it a model of how, in the 21st Century, an important historic estate can be managed for the long-term benefit of its occupants and the wider local community.

Work is well underway in the protection, sensitive repair and restoration of the listed buildings within the Estate and in bringing other Estate buildings up to modern-day standards.  This is being done in close collaboration with Shropshire Council, Historic England and with the local community.  Work is also being carried out to upgrade infrastructure and essential accommodation for those who run Mawley Hall LLP.

Mawley Hall LLP is restoring the fabric of Mawley and rebuilding it as a working estate, with commercial management of agriculture, forestry, hospitality and country pursuits.

Mawley, with its core 700 acres, has now been added to with the acquisition of further land and other property in order achieve a scale which allows the business better to fulfil its commercial ambitions.  These acquisitions will enable Mawley Hall LLP to become a modern, diverse and cohesive landed estate, trading profitably and sustainably, and becoming a key contributor to the local community and economy.

The acquisitions include the purchase of nearby Kinlet Estate and Kinlet Hall, Birch Farm and the Cleobury Mortimer Golf Club, bringing the acreage under the ownership and management of Mawley Hall LLP to approximately 3,750.  The additional pasture, arable and woodland will generate both income and employment, as will the operation of the Golf Club and other hospitality venues.
